378

The number of days that a crew of four astronauts simulated existence on Mars, exiting their isolation just six months earlier than when I wish to enter the habitat for 1460 days. That is the term of the 47th US Presidency.

But I must resolve to neither hide my head nor hold my breath. We have endured this previously, and thankfully exited it. I will feel violated and endure hostility and indignant righteousness, but I must seek the light in others, and together show a path back towards a gentler, more peaceful, and uplifting community and country.

That is my hope, my mission, and this blog will be my accounting of learning and listening and healing.
