🌱 Trident Maple, #2319

Four pre-bonsai shaped trident maples, $6.50 ea from Left Coast Bonsai. May 2023. Wire bite scars on tridents should heal over or mask with bark, but not desirable.

Repot for more growth. Pruned leader to enable taper. Left a few lower sacrificial branches to further increase trunk width.

Attempted to propagate from cuttings—could not hurt. 9:1 pumice to peat. Misted and in ziplock bags for humidity.
