Late Summer Work

I am relearning the seasons. Mid-July is not late summer, Sept is, I think. After I respite of a few weeks of whether in the 70s or 80s, the first week of September gets close to 95°. So I pulled the shade cloth back out again to protect my plants and we’ll see if at the end of the month, the shade cloth will go away.

Experimenting with deciduous mature trees needing more foliage (smaller) and branching. Partial defoliated (cutting 1/4 leaves off or reduced leaf area) on plum and coast live oak.
