Original air-layered shohin in development. Questionable branch selection to develop movement, taper and asymmetry.

• Good potential, double-trunk, encourage the main trunk to get bigger than the secondary trunk

• Let the top branch grow out to beef up the trunk 

• Otherwise, clean up lower branches & leaves. Cut to lowest pair, selectively trim long internodes

• Upper branch is a long internode with no mid-bud.  Eventually may remove and grow anew or possible thread graft.
