Order of Spring Waking
Tridents budded & leafed out first, though a warm winter
Larch woke next.
Oak acorns sprouting strongly—well in individual grow bags and organic, though draining, soil.
Hornbeams are budding mid-Feb, but leading out is slow.
Cherry is finally waking—though no growth over last year
Repotted in a larger grow bag with organic soil.
Birch is slow, Mar 1 and just a hint of buds.
Gingkos seem to be the last, though repotted from small pots with non-organic high draining soil.
Too wet? Not sure, but little to no growth in a year
Repotted into Perlite:Peat in Pond Baskets—will see
